New to Ethereal
I have installed Ethereal and WinPCap on Windows 2000. I read the FAQ for Ethereal regarding why I'm only getting the packets from/to my machine and multicast/broadcast packets. It says that I have to setup my hardware to work with me. Can someone help me do this and help me figure out what all I need to be able to view the contents of a packet? Thanks, Jeremy

Re: New to Ethereal
I presume that you're on a switched network. So you must enable port monitoring on the port that you are connected to and the port you want to analyze (e.g. the uplink port or VLAN).
