PCM+ 2.0 | Track Devices by MAC
Is there a way (or can we plea long enough so that we will be able...) to get PCM to recognize when a DHCP device changes its address? Currently, they show as UNAVAILABLE...and you have to delete them and rediscover the subnet...very aggrovating. The stack commander a ccesses subswitches on an internal IP anyway...

Re: PCM+ 2.0 | Track Devices by MAC
Hi Preston,
I've been told that PCM 2.0 automatically update the device IP address (based on device serial number) for ProCurve devices, whenever you rediscover the subnet.
You should not have to manually delete them, but they will show as unavailable until the next rediscovery completes.
