PCM 2.3 & Preferred Switch Software

In PCM 2.3 on the Network Management Home Dashboard the "Preferred Switch Software" display shows all my switch software as "unknown".

All the devices have the latest FW but it's not reflecting that. The only way that I could get it to display correctly ("Preferred") is to upgrade the FW in the device, even though it’s the exact same build. Why is that?

Check under tools -> preferences -> configuration management -> Switch software the settings. Sometimes it says none.
If that is the questions go on step back and press the download now button and the program will download from hp the "latest"list of firmware.

I unchecked the "Preferred Version" check box under tools -> preferences -> configuration management -> Switch software settings and this seemed to do the trick.
