PCM+ Live view/syslog/events problems
Hi all,
1.
A few of my switches (5406s) will not come up with the 'Live view': Message (HTTP400)
The webpage cannot be found
There might be a typing error in the address.
If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.
2.
Depending on the IP-address, different VLANs, I let these switches be discovered the syslog and events will be filled up or they do not.
Debug of destination log didn't give any clues.
Configuration etc gets pulled ok
Any ideas?
Thanx Jaap

Re: PCM+ Live view/syslog/events problems
I always found that issue was due to a mismatch in configurations on the Agent and the switch.
Make sure the method you are using is configured on the switch / http/https and that you have a username and password. Also could be the certificate as I believe the live view utilises IE.

Hi Trev,
You 're right.
Checked this - on 27 working 5406s to the three not working - but no diffs apart from the obvious things.
If I click 'on' the switch from the image tab a IE session does appear for the switch.
I can also start a seperate IE session directly.
??
Thanx Jaap
