PCM - Traffic Monitoring of gigabit links
I've got PCM monitoring some gigabit links on 5300s, however the gauges and graphs show values which are not accurate - 74% utilised on a link which is actually only running around 1-2%.
Has anyone else recognised this?

Re: PCM - Traffic Monitoring of gigabit links
PCM 2.1 has a problem where the gauges are linked to the speed of the port at the time of discovery. This is often 100 or 10Mbit.
To fix this you need to delete the switch from PCM and re-discover it.

Re: PCM - Traffic Monitoring of gigabit links
Jason,
This has been fixed in PCM 2.2, which will be available as a free upgrade to PCM 2.1 owners in early June. There are a number of significant enhancements to the traffic monitoring portion of PCM 2.2 in addition to this fix.
Regards,
SVB

Re: PCM - Traffic Monitoring of gigabit links
Thanks guys. I'm looking forward to these enhancements. I see so much potential in the traffic module that would make it really useful. I hope we can get reporting into versions beyond 2.2.
