PCM can pre alert broadcast storm??
Hi,
Any one have idea to do configuration on PCM or NNM to pre-alert boradcast storm. I am using ProCruve series 54XX and 53XX.
Please kindly advice!!

A broadcast storm really happens immediately, there is no warning. (Unless there is a device on the network that is intentionally sending lots of broadcast traffic).
The best thing you can do is prevent it from occurring in the first place - enabling spanning-tree throughout your network is a good first step.

From memory, with PCM Traffic Monitor you can configure traffic thresholds which will put an alert into the eventlog of PCM. You can then configure an action on that alert, for example to send an email warning you that this is happening.
