When updating the secondary firmware image on a 2824 from PCM2.1+, I unchecked "reboot". Now the switch seems fine, but PCM+ still lists it as "updating", with no means of canceling or changing that status. So basically, I can't update it again, if I ever want to. I've tried rebooting the switch, rebooting PCM+ and the PC, re-discovering etc. to no avail.
Can anyone please help?

Solution
Hello Jens,
You should be able to clear out the "Updating" entry for that device by removing the file:
[PCM install dir]\PNM\server\config\fwuSchedule.prp. Once the file is removed restarting your PCM services (or rebooting the management server) should clear out that entry. Note that this will clear out all the contents of your "Software Update Status" dialog but that sounds like what you're trying to accomplish.
I have filed a problem report with the PCM engineers in charge of firmware update so hopefully this problem will be addressed in a future update package.
Take care,
-Devon
