PCMPlus Logs Filling With Warnings
I have issue with PCMPlus event logs filling up with trap messages "snmp: SNMP Security access violation from (ip address of PCMPlus server)." However, if I use the PCMPlus utility to "Test Communication Parameters in PCM" everything reports good. I'm using SNMPv3. I've verified that the PCMPlus server is allowed to access the switches. This is a relatively new occurence, can't tie it to an event, but possibly upgrading PCMPlus to 3.20.1741? I know that I can turn off the logging of these traps, but I'd rather keep an eye on those kind of things. Any ideas on how to fix either PCMPlus or the switches so that they don't see valid requests as security violations?

Re: PCMPlus Logs Filling With Warnings
5 switches are responsible for probably 98% of the messages. They are:
1 - 2626C ROM H.08.05 SW H.10.83
1 - 2626B ROM H.08.02 SW H.10.83
2 - 2650B ROM H.08.02 SW H.10.83
1 - 2610-24-PWR ROM R.10.06 SW R.11.63
1 - 2626C ROM H.08.05 SW H.10.83
1 - 2626B ROM H.08.02 SW H.10.83

Re: PCMPlus Logs Filling With Warnings
Hmm
I haven't heard of any issue like that on those platforms.
I tried to set up a quick test, but seem to be fine here,
Are you sure there are no other SNMP application running on the same server querying those switches?
If no, i think i will advise you to log a case with support.
