PPP Protocol in HPUX

We recently suffered a massive network failure, bringing down our hospital information system for 3+ days. Management has requested a fallback environment using modem connections. We have a DTC 72MX terminal server currently supporting normal dialin to telnet connections. Can anyone supply information about using this equipment to support ppp protocol connections?

As far as I know HP-UX 11.0 is not supported for DTC using ppp protocol connection
