Performance of 8 port J9538A 10 GB cards in 5406 ZL switches
We are running the 8 port J9538A 10 GB cards in our 5406 ZL switches - we are not seeing anywhere near the 10 gb performance we think we should be seeing.
Switch Software is K.15.06.0008 and some switches are connected directly to each other using the HP 10 gig cables.
We are seeing speed on the conneted switches of (see below)
Rates (5 minute weighted average) :
Total Rx (Kbps) : 92,976 Total Tx (Kbps) : 83,488
This is roughly only 93 megabytes per second - we are expecting much more than that.
the configures port on a swith to swith connection is
C6 SFP+DA7 | No Yes Up 10GigFD NA on 0
Wondering why we don't see the 10GB performance we were expecting.
Please chime in
Thanks in advance.
