Hello Friends,

I want to enable port security on Hp switches,on each port only 1 mac address should be allowed,i.e connected PC

can any body guide me for the configuration.

if you want to allow specific mac-address on a port, you can leverage 'port-security' feature

enter config mode and configure as

ProCurve 5406(config)# port-security learn-mode configured address-limit 1 mac-address

If you additionally need to be notified when the above rule is broken, you could supply additional paramter to the above command i.e

port-security learn-mode configured address-limit 1 mac-address action
