Port ** is now Offline ------ Port ** is now Online
Hi Guys,
What could be the cause for switches (2610) to record this in the log:
Port ** is now offline..
Port ** is now online..
Interfaces are not logging any bad Rx or Tx packets...
Thanks!

Re: Port ** is now Offline ------ Port ** is now Online
Hi,
There may be several reason of this issue .
1) Sytem lan card problem.
2) Cabling issue from system to switch.
3) Dataport of the system or dataport of the switch .
4) Cable is faulty or loose.
-Try to Disable the power management on the NIC on the device connected to that port,
and also
-Check the cables and the patch panel.
Regards.
