Port with switch not working

I have a port on a 2650 untagged vlan 30.

This port has a switch on it (cheap netgear pos...) that has a workstation and a printer on it.

The workstation gets it's dhcp address..
User can happily work...
printer is hard set to 10.3.30.248 (subnet 30 is 10.3.30.x)
printer wont connect...

please help...
