Hello,
We currently have in our instalation (VM hosting) an HP switches that we're eventually looking to replace / upgrade.
The switches contains a HP 24p Git-T vl Module (J8768A) & a HP Gig-T/SFP vl Module (J9033A) in a 4204vl/J8770A chassis.
Since the people who originaly installed/configured it (about 10 years ago) are no longer working here, I was hopping to get some pointers about which matieral could be the best replacement for our current configuration.. Our objective would be to maximize our chance of compatibility.
Can anyone recommand to me eventually some upgrades or replacements, which could have a compatible configuration files ?
Thank you.

SolutionHello @abbetch,
End of sale of the chassis J8770A and modules J8768A + J9033A announced on January 31, 2015 and after 5 years End of Engineering support.
HPE encourages customers to migrate to the HP 5400R zl2 Switch Series. For a stacking based solution, customers can choose the HP 2920 Switch Series or the HP 3800 Switch Series.HP 4200vl series switch and accessories
