Printing from VLAN
my default vlan is 10.0.1.x and Vlan 2 is 10.0.2.x
I am trying to print from 10.0.2.x on a printer that is on 10.0.1.x . I have installed the printer, creating a local tcp/ip port.
I can ping the printer and print server but cannot print.
Thank you!

Re: Printing from VLAN
you mean ping from the procurve?
you may need to issue "ip routing" command on the procurve.
pleas post more details of the procurve config and what ports the printer and client are connected.

Re: Printing from VLAN
the Printer have even a gateway in this config?
The best test it, plug a PC an die 10.0.2.x VLAN an try to ping in both directions. So you checked the Switch-Config.
