ProCurve 2900-48G (J9050A) with Intel 10 Gigabit AF DA Dual Port Server Adapter ?

I would like to attach an Intel 10 Gigabit AF DA Dual Port Server Adapter (E10G42AFDA - http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/network-adapters/10-gigabit-network-adapters/10-gigabit-af-da-dp.html) to a ProCurve 2900-48G switch.  Th connection is within the same rack, so a cable length of 1...2 m is sufficient.

Are these compatible with each other?

Which exact types of cables / adapters do I need?

Hi,

2900 do not support Direct Attach, only CX4 10Gbe. The intel line card indicated is only DA, the hp documentation will indicate which switch are compatible, 2910al for example.
