ProCurve 4204VL trying to create SLA (Static Link Aggregation) or 802.3ad and am getting confused
Newbie to the realm of switch configuration.
I have 1 ProCruve 4204VL and Windows 2008 servers that are all running Intel 82574L Gigabit ethernet adapters.
I'm trying to Team the adapters but don't see how I can configure the switch to behave properly and link the two ports.
Do I have my terminology for the HP portion incorrect? Does this have something to do with VLANS per server?
Can the 4204 do what I'm asking?
Can someone point out where in the manual it describes to do this?
For example
Server 1 has NICs A and B and they're plugged into ports D22 and D24.
Do I create a VLAN that uses those 2 ports (if so how do I configure that?) instead or do I use SLA somehow? (If SLA how do I configure that?)
Thanks in advance for any and all help!
