ProCurve 5406zl performance issues

Hi there,

I used to work with the 5300xl series, and discovered that they suffered from serious performance issues when it came to routing.

Working at another company now, we've just installed the 5400zl series, and unfortunately I'm seeing the same issues :(

Ever since the users got on the new switches (and new subnets), they've been complaining about performance on almost every of our software systems.
Also, if I make a simple ping from one subnet to another, the response time is always in the HUNDREDS of milliseconds - and the network is far from fully loaded.

Have anyone experienced similar problems? Does anyone know of a solution to this?
I can provide a config if necessary.

Generally speaking though, my experience with the 5300's routing performance has always been excellent.

I haven't used the 5400 yet, but I wouldn't expect these large response times.
