Prob with statique lacp trunk

Hi,
Try to create a trunk between a 5308XL with Giga Module and a 2824.
I create 4 Vlan on each switch and use a trunk to link the vlan residing on each switch
I built a lacp trunk with 2 ports .
The prob is that i lost the link between vlan that reside on each switch .
An idear ?
Thank

Re: Prob with statique lacp trunk

I think you have to assign the trunk to each vlan. Example assuming your trunk is called trk1 and you want VLAN1 ,2 3, then

vlan 1 untagged trk1
vlan 2 tagged trk1
vlan 3 tagged trk1

And you have to do it on both ends.

Re: Prob with statique lacp trunk

Hi,
Thank for reply
Can you tell me why in Vlan1 you don't tag TKR1 ?
My prob is that the trunk hang sometimes without reason , must disable trunk ports on the 5300 and re-enable them to reactivate traffic in the trunk.

Also
Info in event log
before the lost of the traffic ports in the trunk are bloqued by lacp.

Re: Prob with statique lacp trunk

1. Use FEC instead of LACP for link aggregation protocol of TRK1. I've heared there are many problems with LACP.

2. You can put TRK1 "tagged" in all VLANs, if you wish. You are not compelled to use use "untagged".

See this for more on the distinction between physically aggregating links and transporting multiple VLANs across links:
