Problem Tagging between Switch Procurve_1700-24 and AP Cisco_1240

Hi all,

I connected a Cisco Access-point to a HP_Procurve_1700-24.
Port Fa 0 on the AP is a trunk (vlan 1 & 2) and vlan 1 is untagged (native).
Port 23 Procurve 1700-24 (where is the cisco connected) has both vlans (1 & 2) - Traffic = ALL and PVID = 1.
There is no traffic on vlan 2 between 1st laptop connected on 1700-24_Port 24 with Traffic = Tagged only - vlan 2 and the second one sends his data via wireless (cisco AP) on vlan 2.

Has anybody already made this kind of installation?

Thankx for your support.

Don't configure this port as tagged-only, but untagged in vlan-2!

normally a laptop does NOT send tagged packets.
and "tagged-only" port will not accept untagged packets.

Hi Pieter,

It's OK now.

I didn't thought about it.

Best regards,
