what subnet masks (SNM) do you use for your big 10.0.0.0 [255.0.0.0?] network?

Thanks for all your help guys.

I'm going to close the thread because I have got the solution. The downstream switch was not configured to look to the core switch as it's default gateway on the 10.82.0.0 network.
