Problem with 5400 & 2900 switches and PCM 2.1 & 2.2

Hello,
we have three 2900 and one 5400 switches in one VLAN. We started with PCM 2.1.9 and did upgrade to 2.2. I started the PCM and let it run in a long term. After a week or more, I did try to connect to a switch via WEB browser. I got the error message browser can not display the WEBpage. Then I tried Telnet without any success. Ping functions and other diveces could be reached. When I stopped the PCM, Telnet to the 5400 function, to the other no chance. The WEBpage shows a frame and a java aplett execution error.

Hello,
I did make a cross test. Without an open ProCurve Manager, I can administrate the switches via Telnet and WEB-browser all the time (since a few weeks). So it is clear, the ProCurve Manager is the reason.

Do you have the "console inactivity timer" option enabled on your switches? If you don't I would recommend you give this a try. It's possible PCM is not closing sessions properly.

Still, that would not explain why your web interface was also inaccessible.
