Procure Ports trunking

Dumb question

When trunking 2 procurve switches. Do the trunk names need to match on both ends (ie. 3500yl - trk3 ==> 5406yl - trk3) or can they be different names?

Hi,
not that dumb.
The trunk "name" isn't important. it can be different at the end of the trunk.

Hello,

the trunk name and trunk group can differ on each site.
