Procurve 25xx / 26xx vs clipboard copypaste operations

HI All!

There's some problem with CLI "batch" operation.
Switches (noticed on 25xx and 26xx) not recive the command list via clipboard properly if the overall command list lenght is greater than 1106 bytes.
For example, I want to migrate from non-HP switch to HP switch for some node.
I prepare the config commands list in the HP CLI format.
I try to send to telnet or console the command list similar to:

vlan 2
name VLAN2
untagged 2
tagged 24
vlan 3
name VLAN3
untagged 3
tagged 24
...
vlan 100
name VLAN100
tagged 23-24
...

If this command list size is greater than 1106 bytes, the switch will break the commands processing with errors.
The last fw version is 08.92 on 2650 switch. I think this bug presents in the older fw's too.

Anybody saw it?

I think this can be a problem of you terminal application, but not the HP switch. Try different terminal application.

I tried to use telnet and Hyperterminal (both are standard windows applications) under Win2K.
I don't notice this problem with Cisco Catalyst switches (29xx, 35xx, 37xx) and Avaya Cajun switches (P33x, P120) at all.
But well, I'll test it with other terminals and post the results here.
