Procurve 2810 teaming issues
Hi!
I have a coupe of procuves 2810 connected to 2 hp servers. Each server is connected to both switches to have redundant connections. The NICs in both servers are teamed. My issues arises in the teaming mode:when the mode is automatic, the traffic does not pass the switches; when I put the teaaming in failover everything works fine...
Is this a known issue with procurve?
Thank you.

Re: Procurve 2810 teaming issues
Hi Renato,
The scenario you want is not plug and play - there is some configuration involved. You have to define the ports each server is plugged into as an LACP trunk.
Looking at the Proliant documentation you may want to set the NICs to SLB teaming.

Cheers,

Re: Procurve 2810 teaming issues
Thanks for your reply Joel,
With the document you showed I think I will be able to resolve the problem. Since each teamed NIC is connected to a different switch, I will try TLB...
