Procurve 2824 and Apple Macintosh
Hi all.
I am experiencing a problem connecting Power Macintoshes to a 2824 (either with system 9.x and 10.x).
The problem is that the Macintosh receives at reasonable speed but it slows down when it transmits.
I chacked STP and it's disabled, is there a way to disable STP on every port?
I had a similar problem on some 3Coms that I solved in that way.
Thank's

Re: Procurve 2824 and Apple Macintosh
Hi Daniele,
First I would check that LACP is dissabled on all ports on the switch.
Second if the Mac's are not G5's fix the ports on the Mac and on the switch to 100FDX.
G5's should be ok, but if still problems fix those ports as well.
You might need a special Duplexer program to fix speeds on the Mac NIC's. Send me an email and I'll provide it. Just remove the nospam(NOSPAMmik22001@hotmail.comNOSPAM).
Regards,
SCOOTER
