Procurve 2824 default management IP
Does anyone know the IP address that these switches use on the web management side after a reset using the front panel controls?
I knew it at one time, but cannot remember and did not write it down. A search on the web has proven fruitless. Many references to the rest procedure, but none to the IP address.

Re: Procurve 2824 default management IP
there is no default ip addr on 2824...
after factory reset, vlan 1 defaults to dhcp client, so if you connect 2824 to a network w/dhcp services, you can look in that dhcp srvr lease table for the 2824 mac addr and find the assigned ip addr, then web to it...

Yeah, I found that out but I got in with a serial connection. Thanks.
