Does the Procurve 4108/4104 support dual CPU (redundant Supervisor)?

4100GL series do not support this kind of modules. I think 9300 series do. 9300 series are the routing switches from HP.

The 4100gl's and 5300xl's from HP are a different architecture to this - they actually have less points of failure in the chassis than Cisco, Nortel etc, even though it is "active".
In the end, a failure in a Cisco et al chassis will bring down your switch no matter how many supervisor modules you have... and there is just as much chance of that happening as there is in the HP switches.
