Procurve 5308xl and HSRP
Hello,
We have installed today 2 5308xl procurves which are linked via a gigabit ethernet conenction. To each router we have connected a Cisco 7204VXR with HSRP running. 2 VLANs are defined, one for the devices and 1 for the connections with the routers. Routers do forward everything to the ip address of the switch. When we have a HSRP switch, we loose connection to everything behind the router until we do a clear arp on our switch.
Are there known problems about HSRP and this type of procurve?

Re: Procurve 5308xl and HSRP
can u upload a drawing? your description is confusing. hsrp uses multicasts to send hello packets and the 5308xl switches should have no problem passing those packets along.
If a problem can be fixed, there's nothing to worry. If a problem can't be fixed, worrying ain't gonna help. Bottom line: don't worry.
