Procurve 802.1x wired autehntication
Hi, I have a problem.
I specify 2 radius server for port access 802.1x authentication.
radius-server host 10.17.0.254 key xxxxx
radius-server host 10.17.0.200 key xxxxx
But if i stop the radius server on 10.17.0.254, - authentification fails.
It does't use secondaryt radius server.

Re: Procurve 802.1x wired autehntication
I beleive it might have to do with the timeout length. Try:
radius-server timeout 1
You can also specify the retransmit value:
radius-server retransmit 1
You may need to up these values, but they should help.

Re: Procurve 802.1x wired autehntication
Hi,
Thanks for reply,
I registered case in HP, and they recommended the same solution. Reduce radius server time-out to 3.
After doing this, everything working fine.
Hp also said, that they are thinking to reduce default timeout in future firmware realeases.
