Procurve HP 4140Gl (fw g_07_53) & Procom NetForce 1800
Hy,
I have problems with link 1GB;if the nic on client is set to 1GB the copy is very slowly
(2,5 GB in 149 minutes), while is set to 100MB the copy during 9 minutes.
The cabling is certificate CAT 6E. The patch cords are ok.
I have to try force the nic HALF and FULL duplex.

seen issues with gig to 100meg. gig to gig should be fine. i's suggest you open call to hp support to address. doesnt sound like known issue (assuming you are at latest firmware)

Bongiorno Franco,
What module are you connecting to in the 4100 switch?
The firmware you are running is not up to date the lates one on the web is G.07.63
My suggestion would be first to upgrade the firmware and if possible could you attach a "show tech all" to your next post. Would be interesting to see any drops or collissions.
Are the drivers on the NIC up to date?
Have you tried different ports/modules/slots in the 4100 switch?
Kind regards,
SCOOTER
