Procurve Manager Alerts not working properly
Hi,
I configured my alerts to send email when a swtich is down but sometimes it does not work and if it work the switch is already UP because of it's delayed alert. It seems that before the alert to work, the switch must be down for a long time.

Re: Procurve Manager Alerts not working properly
Hi
Add a Severity with high level like Critical...
then check your SMTP profile settings.
For testing add another alert to Display a message dialog when the error occurs, then test it.
Godd Luck !!!

Re: Procurve Manager Alerts not working properly
Hi,
I created different alerts like when the power is down and when the switch is up. I also created alerts for critical events. Sometimes it works but when it works, I received first the email alert that the switch is up and then after that I will receive the email alert that the switch is down. Or sometimes I received email alerts that the switch is up without receiving the alert that the switch was down.
