Procurve Stacking Options

HI, I just want to know how to configure stacking options on procurve edge switches. We have a number of switches per floor and I want to have a stack name for each floor. How do I create a stack commander and join other switches. Thanks!

Either through the web interface or using the CLI 'Menu' command, stacking is very easy to configure.

From the web interface you can set a stack commander under the configuration tab.

Close your web browser then go back to the same switch and you should see a stacking menu at the top of your web browser. You can then go to stack management and add other switches to the stack.
