Procurve time sync

I have one procurve 5406 switch I have getting time from an external time server, but I am having trouble syncing my other 8 procurves to the 1st. Anyone have any suggestions?

Do you mean you're trying to sync your other switches from the 5406? I don't believe the 5460's act as a timep/sntp server themselves.

The 5406 does not have the capability to act as an NTP server. The 5406 can be configured as an SNTP client
