Procurve
How do you get procurve manager 2.3 to update the switches firmware. Not sure were to go

first you have to go to :
Tools -> preferences -> Configuration management
Press there de download now button. This will retrieve the "latest" list of firmware. most of the time the release on the web are 2-3 weeks quicker then this list.
If this is updated go on level lower in switch software and select the firmware you want for your switches.
After that go to the the switch and press the button that looks like a switch with a green arrow. here you can schedule your firmware updates.
The rest is self explaining.

I've done like you said but when i go to the status of the switch to see if the firmware has been succesfully deployed it just say "waiting " all the time and later it will give a error. Although when i copy the .swi files underneath the appropreiate dir the firmware works, but i still wants it to tell me if new updates are available and if there are, I want this program to download it and automatically update the switches.
