QoS (TCP port based priority)
Hi everyone,
I have configured a Porcurve 5412 with multiple VLANs and routing enabled.
One of these ports is my uplink to the internet. This port is the only port untagged in VLAN 99.
Is it posible to configure some kind of QoS on this port/VLAN so RDP traffic will have an higher priority then the http (or all other) trafic?
Thnx,
Sjoerd

Re: QoS (TCP port based priority)
Yes, you can do that. Something like this:
(config) qos tcp-port 3389 prio 5

Re: QoS (TCP port based priority)
To solve the issue i placed a bandwith controller between the port and the internet. (http://bandwidthd.sourceforge.net/)
