Question HP-2824 and Jumbo Frame / MTU Size
Hi to all,
I have a problem to understand this right now -> "jumbo - Labels this VLAN as a Jumbo VLAN, allowing you to pass packets up to 9220 bytes in size."
If i enable Jumbo Frame Support on my vlan so then i have only MTU 9220 or can i use MTU 1550 what i need ?
vlan 561
name "BBCS Link"
forbid 1-22
untagged 23,Trk1
jumbo
exit
Thanks for Answer

Re: Question HP-2824 and Jumbo Frame / MTU Size
It will allow any frame size up to 9220 bytes in size.
You need to be careful though mixing non-jumbo and jumbo clients as the switch will not fragment jumbo frames if you need communication between a jumbo and non-jumbo client.
