Question regarding SNMP and 2848

Hi

I need a way to look at the mac addresses associated with a particular port on a procurve 2848. I have had a quick look at the spec's for a 2848 and seen all the rfc's it complies to, I had a quick look and nothing is spring out.

Is it possible, can I find out what machines/mac is associated with say port1 etc

I found this in the manual

walkmib ifPhysAddress

which I can run on the switch, how do I translate this to running from an external machine can I do something like

snmpwalk router ifPhysAddress
