RSTP doesn't work

Hi,
I enabled Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) in all switches of my network (eight 2524 access switches and two 9304 core routing switches) but convergence time still are > 30 seconds.
All devices are upgraded to latest firmware versions.

Where can I indagate furtherly?

Are you using the 2524s in a stacked environment? 2524 don't support RSTP if they are stacked, all the devices within a stack operate independently as if they were standalone switches.

Yes, 2524 are stacked in each floor, grouped by 3-4.
Are you sure that RSTP isn't supported in this configuration?
Where can I find an 'official' source?

Peraphs, problem seems solved now.
In any case, when RSTP cuts stack connections between commander and members, there is no chance to manage members with only one IP address!
