1. Maybe they will in a new firmware revision. ~A~, ~J~: maybe we should push HP to release a new revision - I guess there is a huge number of 4000Ms installed and they should continue to support these machines.

2. Be careful with STP, though: HP network printers will be much slower - due to their powersave-on feature which shuts down the link to the SWT running STP. When a user will print, STP will put the newly-awaken printer's port from Disabled in Bloking, Listening, Learing and only then in Forwarding, and this process lasts ~50 seconds with the default STP parameters. So users will see a ~1 minute delay if they print at higher than 15 minutes intervals - default timer on most HP printers for entering powersave-on mode.
