Redundancy problem Procurve 2910

Hi

I have a problem with two procurve 2910 and our VMware environment.
I have active, stand-by NICs configured in VMware. I want to connect a cable to each Procurve switch for redundancy. There is a cable between the switches.
When I have both cables connected to the swiches I get no connection to the ESX host. If I remove the cable from the second switch the active NIC get a connection to the ESX host. If I remove the active NIC cable from the first switch the stand-by NIC in the second switch doesn't give a connection to the ESX. If I put both cables in the same switch the active, stand-by configuration works.
What do I have to do in order for the redundant NIC configuration to work.

Re: Redundancy problem Procurve 2910

you needed Server-to-switch distributed trunking but do not include 2910 switch

you needed 3500 series switch
