Routed interface on 8212zl

Hi,

How do I create a routed interface on a 8212?
I need to create /30 network between a 3Com switch (which has a routed interface) and 8212.

generate vlan on 8212 switch

new vlan interface assign ip address and untag some port (member por) on switch

What you suggest is to create a VLAN and configure an IP address on that VLAN and untag a switchport to that VLAN.

What I mean is do disable switching on a specific switchport and configure an IP address on that switchport.

Is my suggestion possible on a 8212 switch?

possible on old version hp core switch 8100

with no swith port command all port router interface and able assign ip address

but imposible new 8200 core switch this operation

there for you want create L3 interface on 8200 switch must be create vlan
