Routing VLAN's using ProCurve 2650, 2810 and Cisco 2821

Have my switches configured with 12 vlans. Attempting to implement a Cisco 2821 as my router to replace the routing being performed on my ProCurve 2650. I can get all Vlans to work except Vlan 1 which is the default Vlan and it is set to native on gi0/0.12, it is also used as the management vlan for all my servers and switches.

I was able to get this to work by changing the default vlan from tagged to untagged and leaving the remaining vlans set to tagged on the switchport connected to the Cisco 2821.
