SNMP STP Traps

I wish to find out whenever an STP algotythum is recalculated.....i.e. when an stp topology changes. Is there any program....hp or otherwise to detect this kind of a change for indvidual switches?? I remember someone saying it is possible through SNMP but i have had no luck searching the net.
