Set 100full on procurve 2510-24

Hi, we have a problem setting 100Full on procurve 2510.
The system permit us to set 100-auto, but not 100-full.
Anyone has the same problem?

Any particular reason you are looking to hard-code the duplex setting?

Because we have an old printer that failed to negoziate speed/duplex, also if we fix the speed on the printer

Have you tried Q.11.07? I also tested Q.11.03 which seemed to work fine.

Re: Set 100full on procurve 2510-24

I don't have a 2510 so I can't help you with that. But I wouldn't worry about the performance difference between 100Half and 100Full for a device that primarily communication one way.

As long as both ends negotiate the same setting, or default to the same setting, I wouldn't hard-code any setting. If you set the printer to 100Full, eventually it will get plugged into a port that is trying to negotiate but the port will default to 100Half because the printer isn't participating in the negotiation. And mis-matched speed/duplex is much, much worse than 100Half vs. 100Full.
