Slow xfer between local ports
Hi,
This is probably a "nube" question, but I've really not done much with switches. I've got ProCurve 5406, 5412, and 6600 switches running K.14.60 newly upgraded firmware. I'm using netperf to test bandwidth and I'm getting ~118 MB/s between switches but only about 70 MB/s between local ports on the switches. At first I thought it was one or two bad ports till I saw it was pervasive and went across all three types of switches.
So, there must be some very basic setting I need for these otherwise nearly OOTB config files.
Advice most welcome, thanks!
Regards,

Re: Slow xfer between local ports
Hi,
I neglected to mention the above was to 1Gb ports. I am getting ~870 MB/s between the 10Gb ports. And yes, I'm quoting MegaBytes, not Mb/s as that's how my brain thinks. ;)
Thanks,
