Small form-factor connector on 100 FX card for HP 4108gl switch

Given the difficulties of cleaning the MT-RJ connector currently used on these cards, are there plans to offer another connector type such as the LC?

Hi,

You can always use a J4864A (Transciver Module with 3 slots)with a J4853A (transciver) then you get a 100FX port with SC connector.

You're right, Victor, that is a workaround.

Unfortunately, if there are very many fibre links, the cost difference is quite significant. Especially if you have to add a second or third 4108 chassis.
