Switch 2512 vlan problem
I have an HP Procurve 2512 and I have problem with vlans.
I have 4 vlans (1,2,3,4) and I want to share my Internet connection delivered by my router (port 1) with all off my vlans. I have tagged port 1 in vlans 1,2,3 and 4 but I can't ping the router from all vlans that port 1 is tagged. I try to Untagged port 1 on vlan 1 but only vlan 1 can ping the router..
Anybody know the solution ?
Thanks for help

Re: Switch 2512 vlan problem
the port on the router must be configured just like the switchport. It must be tagged (or trunked if it is a cisco router).

Re: Switch 2512 vlan problem
Thanks for your reply, I test to tagged (trunk)the port on a cisco switch with no results. My router is a Netgear router and do not support 802.1Q encapsulation.
Any idea ?

Re: Switch 2512 vlan problem
If your switch dont support vlans, you could routing trafic to vlan1
