I need to swap 2 fiber blades to 2 ethernet blades on a procurve 5308. I believe I can swap them while the switch is up, but is there a way to get the switch to recognize them without rebooting?
Thanks,
Steve

Solution
Hi Steve,
same type of module can be hot swapped. If you have installed any modules into slots that were previously occupied
by a different type module, you need to reset the switch.
