Syslog Server on Procurve 2510G-2520G (J9279A and J9299A)
Hello people,
I've a question about syslog server. I want to centralize the logs of my Procurve 2510G-24 and 2520G-24 (20 switchs) on my syslog server (Debian Squeeze with syslog-ng). I search for tuto to configure the switchs to send their logs on syslog server, but I can't found for this model of Procurve.
2510G are running on firmware Y.11.35 and 2520G on firmware J.14.54 (current firmware).
Can you explain to me how to configure? Or maybe 2520G and 2510G can't connect to a syslog... I can't found a part about syslog on doc HP.
Thank you for your help,

Re: Syslog Server on Procurve 2510G-2520G (J9279A and J9299A)
Sure they can log to a central syslog server.
Refer to the manual on page C-32 (appendix C : Troubleshooting) for the commands :

Re: Syslog Server on Procurve 2510G-2520G (J9279A and J9299A)
use the command "logging xx.xx.xx.xx " where xx.xx.xx.xx is the syslog server ip :)
